Louise has always been interested in the arts and has worked in Galleries in London where she has learnt to assess a painting. Louise feels she takes photographs with an artist's eye. Louise started taking photographs in a more serious way in 1993, after moving to Leicestershire and having had two children. She took a diploma in black and white photography in 1993 and in 1995 gained a distinction from a city & guilds portraiture course. She has won a portrait competition in the only event entered! She has been taking photographs, mainly portraits, whilst her children have been growing up. Mainly practising on her friends and family ever since 1993 she hopes that she has many satisfied customers! She always aims to take a photograph that could be framed like a painting.

For three years running - up to the year of her death - Louise was privileged enough to be asked to photograph the Queen Mother at an annual reception for the Charity 'Queen Mary's Clothing Guild'. Whilst feeling very anxious she found that the Queen Mother put her at her ease and enabled her to take many photographs of her greeting all the patrons of the charity.

After doing a course on weddings in 2005 with Annabel Williams, the renowned photographer, she has now embarked on photographing weddings, events, christenings and parties, again in black and white and colour.

Louise works mainly in the Midlands and East Anglia but is always happy to travel outside this area. She aims to try and work to a client's remit whilst being as unobtrusive as possible. All clients wishes try to be catered for and this would be discussed in detail before an event or wedding - thus ensuring that the client is happy with the results.

Feel free to call Louise at any time with any questions about her work without any obligation.
